Pedro Marqués de Armas (La Habana, 1965) ha publicado los volúmenes de poesía Los altos manicomios (1993), Cabezas (2002) y Cabeças e outros poemas (2008), y los ensayos de Fascículos sobre Lezama (1994) y Ciencia y poder en Cuba. Racismo, homofobia, nación (2014). Integró el grupo de escritura alternativa Diáspora(s) y fue redactor de la revista homónima. Editó además la antología Poesía cubana contemporânea: Dez poetas (2008). Reside en Barcelona y codirige la revista literaria Potemkin ediciones.
