This story is based on the book of Revelation that is part of the Bible. The author of the book desires to share this revelation in a simple and accessible way for kids. It is important to prepare for the return of Jesus. The plan that God has is unique and we should guard in our heart each one of the written words. Revelation means: REMOVING THE VEIL. So, it is seeing clearly the glory of Jesus and the majesty of God without anything covering our eyes.
