This book highlights ’The Extent of Literary Works on Society Transformation’ in referring to the case study of the Gahini Community in Kayonza District in Rwanda. The Gahini community has been considered as a literature research area due to its particular history since in Missionary periods in Africa, especially, in East Africa as well as in Rwanda. The theoretical framework to conduct this academic study includes: Model literary work authors especially Africans like Ngũgĩ wa Thiongʼo with his current literary works, Chinua Achebe, Wole Soyinka...Their literary works have been crucial in influencing and transforming different societies. No literature, no society and literature is a mirror of society. 'Literature industry is the main channel of ’Self-Examination of the community.' (Author, N. Etienne). The research is based on a qualitative approach in data collection, analysis as well as presentation. Quantitative approach only used to present statistical data. Data obtained by interviews, academic observation and documentary review. Then, the study adopted a multiple-case study and content analysis used for data analysis.
