La méthodologie a consisté à tester sous une serre durant 75 jours, six traitements avec cinq répétitions : les analyses de variance (ANOVA) et de comparaisons multiples des moyennes ont été réalisées sur les données agronomiques au seuil de probabilité de 5%. Les analyses des métaux lourds ont été faites sur un Spectromètre à Absorption Atomique (SAA) à flamme).Les résultats ont montré sur le plan de la phytoremédiation que les concentrations en ETM (Cu, Pb, Zn) sur tous les sols de décharges étaient largement supérieurs aux valeurs limites. L’indice de pollution de chaque sol était supérieur à 1 soit de 8,15 pour le sol de décharge de Saaba, et 7,50 pour le sol de décharge Toudouwéogo. Les deux espèces végétales ont contribué à la diminution de l’indice de pollution du sol à la récolte de 1,6 pour la décharge Saaba et de 6 pour sol Toudouwéogo mais les valeurs demeurent tout supérieur aux normes pour une utilisation en agriculture.
