Ausgrabungen am Goebekli Tepe brachten die bisher noch unbekannte Religion der 'Jungsteinzeitlichen Revolution' zum Vorschein. Vor beinahe 12 000 Jahren wurde dieser Kultus etabliert, von Priestern die Jaegerschamanen, Feuersteingraeber und Waffenmacher waren. Fortschritt in der Waffenindustrie fuehrte zum Ueberjagen, brachte dadurch eine kurzfristige Schwemme von Fleisch, zu viele Jaeger im Nachwuchs, und ein darauffolgendes Schwinden der Fauna. Die Knappheit von Tieren rief einen priesterlichen Kultus hervor der auf die Wiederbringung der Tiere hinzielte. Priesterliche Vernunft rationalisierte so die Beherrschung von Pflanzen und Tieren. Sie rechtfertigte deren Domestizierung. Zu dieser Kultur wurde spaeter noch die Beherrschung von Menschen hinzugefuegt. In diesem Buch wird dieser Kulturwandel als Ueberdomestizierung erklaert. Sonstwo wird es meistens noch als 'Zivilisation' hochgerechnet.Karl W. Luckert ist ein deutsch-amerikanischer Professor Emeritus der Religionswissenschaft. Seit 1960 arbeitete er an Eingeborenen Religionen von Melanesien, Nordamerika, Mittelamerika, China, und dem alten Aegypten. Voelkerkundliche Feldstudien von Steinzeit Kulturen lieferten ihm die meisten seiner Gedanken fuer die Archaeologie am Goebekli Tepe. 3
