Cartas de mi molino (Lettres de mon moulin) recopila una serie de relatos de Alphonse Daudet publicados entre 1866 y 1874 en diferentes periódicos franceses. Los temas que aborda el autor son diversos, aunque en su mayor parte evocan la vida en Provenza, la región de nacimiento de Daudet, y sus destinatorios son los lectores de París. Algunas cartas, sin embargo, se localizan en otras regiones de Francia como Córcega (El faro de las sanguinarias) o Argelia (Las naranjas o En Milianah. Notas de viaje). El tono de toda la obra oscila entre el humor, la sátira y el drama y en ella se puede apreciar un importante componente autobiográfico.
