Sanskrit is a dead language and now spoken by less than 1% of Indians and is mostly used by Hindu priests during religious ceremonies. Does any Tamil Hindu understand the verses chanted in Sanskrit during Hindu rituals? Does the Brahmins by birth who chants mantras understand the meaning of them? Why we Tamils are in this fantasy? Is it time for us to ameliorate?
